Pure Living.
The Durst Organization's commitment to sustainable building began nearly 100 years ago. That’s when the simple philosophy "Leave the world better than when you found it" was established by the company’s founders, Joseph and Rose Durst.
Now, Durst Fetner Residential carries on that tradition with the LEED Gold Certified 600 rental unit The Helena. Constructed sustainably, with "green" thinking built into every facet of the project, The Helena sets the standard for what green city living can be. In keeping with this ethic, Durst Fetner created The Epic, a 458 rental unit building in New York City, that is LEED Gold Certified as well.
Durst Fetner Residential continues its commitment to the environment with 1212 Fifth Avenue, a condominium in the Upper East Side which incorporates many of the US Green Building Counsel’s standards and practices for efficient and sustainable living.
